Encountering Christ in Daily Prayer

We encounter Christ in many ways: through the sacraments, Holy Scripture, love of others, and, of course, prayer. Following last fall’s Archdiocesan Day of Renewal, we invite you to join others from around the archdiocese for a day of prayer to learn how to build a daily habit of prayer and create a parish culture of prayer. This day of prayer and formation will be led by Josh Danis, Director of Diocesan and Parish Engagement for Hallow, the #1 Catholic meditation and prayer app in the U.S.

Topics of the day will include:

• Prayer as a means to encounter Christ personally.
• How to identify your personal prayer style and build a daily habit of prayer.
• How to help create a parish culture of prayer.
• How to tap into the power of intercessory prayer to fuel the mission of the Church.
• Methods for leading group prayer that create space for an encounter with Christ.
